Stephanie A. Ristvey sristvey@smrlegalsearch.com
Stephanie comes to SMR Legal Search with over twenty-two years experience in the legal industry as a senior paralegal, firm administrator, president of a legal consulting firm for attorneys, and legal recruiter for both a national recruiting firm and one of Philadelphia's oldest legal recruiting agencies.
Closely working with, and having the confidences of partners, associates and administrators from AM Law Global 100, regional, and specialty boutique firms, as well as in-house legal departments enable Stephanie to provide her clients and candidates with a candid assessment of the legal market and the ability to ask those tough questions that many recruiters are afraid to ask.
As a legal recruiter, Stephanie has been successful in placing attorneys, paralegals and administrators in law firms and in-house corporate legal departments, as well as assisting partners in valuing their support staff to ensure the successful merger of practices. In addition to the depth of her experience in the legal industry, she has earned the reputation for being perceptive, insightful and diligent.
Stephanie was graduated from Juniata College in 1984, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Russian. She received her certificate in Litigation Management from the Institute for Paralegal Training, an ABA approved program, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1985.
She is an associate member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and is adjunct faculty member of the paralegal programs at Saint Joseph's University and the Community College of Philadelphia. In addition, Stephanie is a frequent contributor to the Legal Intelligencer, and a regular lecturer.
Stephanie serves on the Paralegal Advisory Board for the Community College of Philadelphia and the Board of Directors of Philoptochos, the philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, Elkins Park. When she is not busy recruiting for SMR Legal Search, Stephanie volunteers in the community and enjoys spending time with her two dachshunds, Sofie and Isabella. |
